Breathing laboriously amidst the swirling clouds of dust, you stagger towards the pile of debris. Each step is a battle against the rising panic and the suffocating atmosphere. The Abomination, though trapped and wounded, still thrashes against the rocks, its roars a chilling reminder of the danger you're in.

Your eyes scan the chaos, searching for any sign of salvation. The dim light barely pierces the heavy dust, but you notice a faint glimmer reflecting off a metallic surface partially buried in the rubble. Hope kindles in your chest as you scramble towards it, moving debris with desperate hands.

Underneath a heap of rocks, you uncover a narrow passageway, barely large enough to crawl through. Whether it's an old maintenance shaft or a natural tunnel carved by time, you can't tell, but it's a chance—your only chance.

The tunnel ceiling continues to crumble, more rocks crashing down with unnerving regularity. Each moment spent hesitating could mean your doom. You glance back at the Abomination, its monstrous eyes glaring, teeth bared in silent fury.

As the Abomination rams the barricade with relentless fury, you pull the pin from your last grenade. Your hand shakes slightly as you lob it with precision under the beast's massive feet. The grenade bounces against the rocky floor, coming to a rest directly beneath the hulking creature.

The Abomination is thrown back, momentarily disoriented, but the victory is short-lived. The ceiling groans ominously, large cracks spider-webbing out from the blast site. Rocks begin to fall, first in a trickle, then in a deadly cascade. You're caught in the midst of a collapsing tunnel, each breath filled with choking dust.

A massive boulder crashes down, narrowly missing you, but sealing off the way behind the Abomination. It's trapped, but so are you, and the air is quickly becoming unbreathable. Panic claws at your mind as options flicker through your head like a flame on a candle wick.

Adrenaline surges anew, urging you to act swiftly before the tunnel becomes your grave.

It bellows in pain, reeling back for a moment, buying precious seconds. But it’s not enough. The Abomination recovers quickly, fury blazing in its eyes, and charges again.

Your back is to the wall, literally and figuratively. The tunnel seems to close in, and you know the next move could be your last. Every survival instinct screams at you to run, but there’s no escape.

You stand up, brushing off the dust from your fall, and let out a mocking laugh that echoes through the tunnel. "Hey, ugly! Over here!" you shout, your voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through you. The shadow at the edge of the tunnel shifts, revealing itself as a grotesque amalgamation of muscle and decay—a Boss Mutant, the Abomination, its eyes glinting with a malevolent intelligence.

"Run!" you yell over your shoulder to the girl. She hesitates for a second, eyes wide with fear, then bolts down the tunnel as you hold your ground, ready for the impact. The Abomination's massive form looms closer, its foul breath hot against your skin. You sidestep at the last possible moment, narrowly avoiding its crushing blow.

With a quick glance, you see the girl has reached a ladder at the far end, starting to climb to safety. But you’re not out of danger yet. The Abomination charges again, and this time, you know it won’t miss.
